Like a Rock!

Many years ago a great and majestic building was planned.

It was to be the most elegant structure in the city.

The construction was started and many grand features were part of the overall project.

After completion everyone admired the magnificent architecture and it amenities.

A few short years later, some of the windows were broken, doors that were left open could not be closed, those closed could not be opened, and the elevator was unusable.

Great detail had been taken in the preparation of the foundation for this building, much work had been done to assure the longevity of this construction marvel.

What was not apparent at the time of the construction was that the soil underneath the foundation was unfit for use as a site for such a wonderful structure.

The church was built on SOLID ROCK!

Jesus prepared the SOIL of our HEART!!

Holy Spirit reinforces the DWELLING!!!

Luke 6:

The Wise and Foolish Builders

(46) Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do what I say?

(47) I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice.

(48) He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock.

When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.

(49) But the one who hears my words and does not put them into practice is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation.

The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete.

Yes, Jesus is the MASTER BUILDER.

HE is the MASTER of everything, we are lords of nothing.

HE is the BUILDER of the KINGDOM of God, we WERE ONLY tenants of HIS Creation!

Good NEWS!!! As Believers in Christ, we have become Co-Builders with Christ Jesus.

God has built an EVERLASTING KINGDOM in us with

Jesus as the foundation of SOLID ROCK!!!

Jesus is the Rock of my Salvation!

In NOne other will I TRUST!!
