Presents for a King!

When we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus, we are reminded of the gifts given by the Magi (wise men).

The presents that were brought to Bethlehem represented the finest articles of riches in that day.

Those gifts are pale in comparison to the GIFT Jesus gave to man!

Were it not for those gifts brought by the Magi,

Joseph and Mary would have had to struggle

against the oppression of King Herod and had to live

as fugitives in their own home.

Before we accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior,

we lived in constant turmoil and

were fugitives from God's PRESENCE!!!

Now, Jesus is in the presence of THE MOST HIGH GOD, intervening on our behalf!

Hebrew 9:

(24)For Christ did not enter a manmade sanctuary that was only a copy of the true one; he entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God's presence.

(25)Nor did he enter heaven to offer himself again and again, the way the high priest enters the Most Holy Place every year with blood that is not his own.

(26)Then Christ would have had to suffer many times since the creation of the world. But now he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to do away with sin by the sacrifice of himself.

This is THE PRESENT of a lifetime.

Given by a LOVING Savior to HIS faithful!

Presented with HIS own blood,

whiter than snow and

pure as gold!!

No other GIFT compares to HIS Great Love for us!!!
