Freedom as a servant of God!

1 Peter 2:15-17

For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a coverup for evil; live as servants of God. Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king.

God's WORD says that HE will use the foolishness of things to confound the wise.

It is not desirable to be a servant, in any shape, form or fashion.

Yet, the Son of God, taking on the form of man, came into this world not to be served but to serve others.

How is it then, that some will desire to be served by their brethren at every turn, taking greatness and turning it into evil?

While enduring the accusations, threats and punishment by the religious leaders, IF Christ had revealed HIMSELF as WHO HE IS, then Jehovah God would not have received man's worship.

Jesus being the ultimate example of a servant, NEVER excersized HIS freedom as the KING of KINGS in any way other than to Honor God our Father.

We must be obedient servants, listening to our Master, HE commands the respect and fear of all!

Father, my freedom comes only from you,

I will sing, I will dance for YOU, my King!

It is by YOUR Spirit that I now serve YOU,

To live freely, being no longer bound by evil!!

Because of my freedom in YOU, O' Lord,

I will become even more undignified than this!!
