The Decision to Obey!

Acts 4:19-21

But Peter and John replied, “Judge for yourselves whether it is right in God's sight to obey you rather than God. For we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.” After further threats they let them go. They could not decide how to punish them, because all the people were praising God for what had happened.

I sometimes have to be reminded of why it is a matter of obedience to speak of these things that I have seen and heard.

As of historical record, these same words are being spoken 2000 years later, proclaiming Christ as Lord and Savior!

Many people today, just as during the 1st century church era, can not and will not accept any testimony of Christ and HIS resurrection.

Nevertheless, to be faithful in God's sight, and obeying HIS command, as Believers we shall bring Glory and Honor to our God!

I would rather speak fewer words about those things I have witnessed as testimony to Jehovah God, HIS love, favor and blessing in my life, than to write volumes of information concerning lesser things.

Father, may YOUR people speak boldly,

Of Christ and HIS Resurrection!

Witness to the very fact that HE is alive,

And I will speak of HIM to all I meet!
