God's Promise for You!

Mark 10:28-30

Peter said to him, We have left everything to follow you! I tell you the truth,� Jesus replied, no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel will fail to receive a hundred times as much in this present age (homes, brothers, sisters, mothers, children and fields and with them, persecutions) and in the age to come, eternal life.

As we read of Jesus teaching HIS disciples, we realize that they had left much to follow HIM before Christ explained the rewards.

God has always and is continually blessing those who believe and obey HIM!

Why is it that so many believers can accept HIS promise of Salvation and eternal life in HIS presence, yet find it difficult to accept and believe HE will bless them as HE promised?

Christ fulfilled the plan of God for our Salvation, can HE not also fulfill HIS promise of blessing and reward?

By HIS own words, Jesus said that a greater blessing than the disciples received would be given to those who have not seen HIM, yet have also believed and trusted in HIM!

Every Believer in Christ, receiving Holy Spirit to strengthen and guide them, is an heir to great blessings and even greater riches.

Father, I have many exceedingly great blessings,

YOU have poured them out from the windows of Heaven.

So much, being Pressed down, Shaken together and

Overflowing are they!

They are more than I could have ever dreamed,

Asked or Hoped for!!

YOU have continually, without measure provided

My needs and deepest desires!
