True Test of God's Anointing!

1 John 2:19-21

They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.

An understanding of this anointing that comes from God, Believers in Christ must understand the foundational doctrine encompassing The Trinity.

Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God which has been given to all believers;

First and foremost, as a deposit from God the Father, Holy Spirit is given only to those who have accepted Christ, believed in HIS death and resurrection and have confessed Jesus as the Son of God, making HIM Lord and Savior of their life!

This is a Truth that God has given to HIS faithful and obedient children the mark of excellence, a holy and righteous people set apart for HIS Glory.

Just as in the 1st century church many went out from the corporate fellowship of the body of Christ with a gospel that was contrary to God, being a curse instead of a blessing, today there are some who claim to be anointed, yet refute the authority placed over them by God!

Believing they have an anointing, their failure is immenent, and therefore proves they do not belong to God, and do not know HIS Truth!

They separate from the body of Christ, bearing NO fruit and unto themselves bring disgrace and judgement

Also, there are those INSIDE the body of Christ that believe they have God's anointing, but they are fruitless and corrupt!

These who remain in the corporate fellowship are the worms that eat away at the fruit and attempt to destroy the harvest, but are unsuccessful because of God's faithfullness to rebuke the devourer on our behalf.

This doctrine, Holy Spirit tesitfies to the fact that Christ is the Messiah, the Son of God, Jesus testifies that God is HIS father and God testifies that HIS Son is our Savior, Redeemer and Judge, marking each believer with Holy Spirit as an anointing, being a testimony of this Truth!

The true test against those who remain and of those who have gone out,

Who is being glorified by their lives??

O' my God and my Father, may YOU be glorifed!

Bearing fruit that is good, I can only speak of YOUR Truth,

That Christ Jesus is YOUR SON, the savior for all men!!

May I now receive a double portion of YOUR anointing,

I submit myself to Christ' authority,

to be led by Holy Spirit,

Proclaiming Christ ONLY, HIM being my Savior, Provider and Redeemer!!!
