The Rule for a Disciple!

James 3:13-16

Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show it by his good life, by deeds done in the humility that comes from wisdom. But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth. Such “wisdom” does not come down from heaven but is earthly, unspiritual, of the devil. For where you have envy and selfish ambition, there you find disorder and every evil practice.

Each of the 5 ministries outlined in God's WORD carries with it limitations and expectations.

It is only an arrogant and prideful disciple who does not heed the instruction given by God concerning their ministry and calling.

No Believer in Christ can verify their opinion concerning personal authority or wisdom concerning ministry outside of God's WORD!

Too often, when a disciple becomes haughty and self righteous, they are refusing to heed instructions given by Jehovah God.

Simply stated, any disciple given to pride and arrogance has not continued in a daily study of God's WORD, nor heeded the rebuke of God appointed authority, but has promoted themselves as leaders and should fear HIS discipline.

Many believers are weak, sick, and suffer all manner of disease and infirmities, strictly because of their rebellion, envy and self ambition!

O' God of my Salvation,

Discipline me according to YOUR WORD!

I fear YOUR Holy and Righteous Judgement,

Instruct me DAILY by YOUR WORD through Holy Spirit!!

To serve YOU with humility and obedience,

Seeking to obey YOU through YOUR elected authority!!!
