That Guiding Lamp of Light!

Mark 4:21-23 NIV

He said to them, "Do you bring in a lamp to put it under a bowl or a bed? Instead, don't you put it on its stand? For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed, and whatever is concealed is meant to be brought out into the open. If anyone has ears to hear, let him hear."

According to the words of the Psalmist in Psalms 119:105, this lamp provides light which will guide both our feet and others that we meet in our journeys, to a closer relationship with Christ.

>Many in the world today stumble and wander aimlessly about searching for something or someone that will lead them into a fulfilled life.

As Believers in Christ, we are to be a searchlight and a beacon which will, as Jesus said in Matthew 5:14, a source of light in the world which will guide the lost and wandering to HIM, the true source of LIFE!

O' Lord, fill me up to overflowing,

with the oil of anointing by YOUR Spirit!

That I will be able to shine brightly

amidst the stormy gales of this life!!

As I am light to those who are lost,

guiding all towards YOU,

the TRUE LIGHT of EVERLASTING LIFE!!!
