Becoming HIS friend!

James 4:3-6 NIV

When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God. Or do you think Scripture says without reason that the spirit he caused to live in us envies intensely? But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says:

"God opposes the proud
but gives grace to the humble."

 

Stating the obvious, is sometimes clouded by our misconception of what the reality of the TRUE Gospel of Christ really is!

The enemy of God, NOT enemies, Satan is the deceiver, father of lies, shouting in their ears, blinding them from God's TRUTH.

Every warning given by Holy Spirit, stands to reveal what Christ did through HIS suffering, death and resurrection, RECONCILE us with our Father, Jehovah God.

Companionship with the world, as Jesus said, reveals the heart of those who love the world and everything in it, having believed Satan's lies, refusing to HEAR, ACCEPT and BELIEVE God's TRUE message of salvation,

Christ Jesus is Saviour
and Redeemer for all
who will come to HIM!

Establish an eternal friendship, with the Creator of the worlds, a Holy and Righteous companion, who gave HIS Life so that we CAN HAVE LIFE!

 

Father, show me more of YOU,
YOUR Grace, that I may see YOUR Glory!
Holy Spirit guides me through,
a tumultuous world,
and into YOUR presence each day!!
I can go and tell others,
I am a friend of YOURS!!!
