A 30-Something Gift of Love!

Psalm 8:6 NIV

O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

As Believers in Christ, we are reminded in this Psalm of the greatness and majesty of Christ our Lord!

Amid the hustle and bustle of everyday life, take a few moments to give thanks to our heavenly Father for HIS deep love for us.

For it was 2000 years ago, that HIS Spirit came upon a young virgin maiden, she conceived and gave birth to a boy child, whose name is Emmanuel, God with us, and HE is mankind's true Savior!

So great and majestic was this child's birth, that God arranged for the heavenly stars to be in attendance, pointing the way to HIS lowly place of birth. A concert of angelic voices in the heavens, shouting the grand announcement, 'Today, in the city of David a Savior has been born to you; HE is Christ...'

God placed an angelic light in the heavens that night, directing men to this fragile Hebrew child, who would one day stand against the wicked and evil ruler of darkness, who attempts to kill and destroy mankind's hope of salvation, and thus steal our most precious gift from our Father! Jehovah God, had formed in HIS own likeness and image, Christ Jesus, through the miracle of a virgin birth.

Then, 30 Something years later, Christ Jesus, having lived HIS life unstained by sin, rejection or rebellion, obedient to HIS Father's will, gave HIS life as a ransom for our souls, in order that we might be spared from eternal destruction and receive our rightful inheritance of heaven's grandeur through our acceptance and confession of HIM as our Lord and Savior.
