As Believers in Christ, we must always look into and listen to God's WORD, for every trouble we face, we find that LIFE in HIM answers all of them! Many believers put up a live tree, some put up artificial ones, either of these SPEAK volumes of the memories we have of Christ.
As God's WORD foretold thousands of years beforehand, of our Savior, who would be hung on a TREE, we put LIGHT around our trees in REMEMBRANCE of HIM, who HIMSELF hung there 2000 years ago. By placing our tree in a stand, this reminds us of the ROOT which was holding up The TRUTH with 3 nails, those nails being symbolized by the 3 adjustment screws which are always used to ALIGN it. Just as our lives are ALIGNED with God through the RECONCILIATION that took place on Calvary's cross, Christ being LIFTED UP between man and God!
Placing upon the top of most trees, either a STAR of David or an ANGEL of the Lord, gives us the image of HIM and who HE REALLY IS!!!
No matter what the world may try to tell us about a Christmas tree, God's WORD tells us that Satan, being the Prince of Lies, will attempt in any and every way possible, to distort and discredit The TRUTH surrounding the TREE!
Look however you will, at the many presents placed at the FOOT of the TREE, these actually symbolize those crowns which will be laid at HIS FEET, in reverance, honor and respect for and to HIM, The King of Glory.
