With the close of a very exciting year, we anticipate a New Year, 2006, to be filled to overflowing with ministry opportunities. At the close of 2004, we were moved by God into a new venue of ministry. The Agape Letters, in it's infancy, was definitely God's answer to a prayer that I had for some time. A vision of where God was going to use every available channel to proclaim the everlasting gospel of Christ Jesus to a generation of lost and hurting people, and I was to be part of HIS divine plan, available to be used by HIM in a mission, one of forming eternal relationships with people from local, national and international contacts resulting in a worldwide effort to bring Honor and Glory to the Son of the Living God.
Starting out in 2005, with a little more than 20 pages and a desire for growth, my challenge was to build and maintain a website unlike any other I had been able to find, having searched endlessly on the internet. One that would incorporate not only the WORD of God, but also provide the look and feel of interaction for other Believers in Christ on a day to day level, a project that would keep their hunger for more of God, on the front burner so to speak, and saturate the entire world wide web comprised of countless thousands of web servers forwarding HIS WORDs into every continent, nation and country! Now with over 1000 pages, the reality has made an enormous impact on my life and the lives of many other Believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Having a small glimpse of a future where, Believers were no longer restrained, constantly ministering HIS Gospel, in a time where evil has overtaken every aspect of society, I sought to build, develop and promote a virtual worldwide arena, a training ground for preparing spiritual warriors, who would be trained for spiritual battle, engaging the enemy, having been built upon a strong foundation of God's holy WORD, arming them with the SWORD of TRUTH and deploy them at a moments notice to do battle with the enemy in spiritual warfare around our world, the vast complexity of which I have been overwhelmed by, to say the least.
In the prophesied coming cold and dark days ahead, for those who do not accept Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior, there will be a void of any human witness, only this outlet of electronic testimony and the virtual witness of Christ, will continue to preach the everlasting Gospel to a hurting and grieving world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
By midspring 2005, many Believers around the world were enjoying the daily exhortations and inspirational devotionals that has kept the WORD of God continually moving across the internet, replicating these messages upon the thousands of servers with invisible borders, in the scope of proclaiming Christ to every man, woman and child of every nation and lanquage, just as was foretold would happen in the last days before HIS 2nd Coming.
Summer of 2005 came, and with it welcomed warmth, stirred our Boating Ministry into full swing, allowing for several beach fellowship gatherings with a large group youth and young adults attending and participating in tubing, skiing and various other water activities. HIS Provision was realized as always, providing for our every expense!!! ALL that, for a Testimony to our God of HIS Promise to provide abundantly, without measure, for our needs, and PROVIDE HE did!!!
Nearing the close of 2005, we find ourselves continuing to obey HIS command of 'Feed MY sheep'. A weekly soup ministry, a wonderful ministry that is more that just about meeting the physical hunger of HIS saints, but a bold effort to strengthen the spiritual bond between a young generation of obedient servants and a generation of saints, who are the foundational pillars in HIS Kingdom's work, and an outreach to those not yet Believers in Christ, but nonetheless, precious souls who were created from the heart of our Loving God, they are also being fed from the TRUE Vine of Life, with an opportunity to share Christ with them, and with all HOPE, they will join with us as citizens of HIS Eternal Kingdom.
Late summer we faced the loss of a dear brother in Christ, whose life was a legacy of both dedication and faithfullness as a servant of Jehovah God, a loving husband and father, who for decades labored in fields of both Agriculture and Kingdomculture, providing an earthly foundation for a spiritual family that continues to grow ever larger for HIS Lord, long after his heavenly promotion. Also during this summer of 2005, we witnessed the closure of a ministry having been outlined by devotion of both heart and soul, of another fellow laborer who diligently toiled with the youth and young adults, caring for them as if they were his own children, raising them up to be warriors of the Most High God, unwavering in his commitment, for that coming season where youthfullness will have a definite advantage in proclaiming God's message of Kingdom Living to a generation of disconnected and dislocated young men and women.
Another area of ministry was beginning to unfold for us, HE moved us into a long hoped for opportunity to cultivate, and with HIS loving hands, plant HIS seed, a new breed of bold, courageous and determined youth and young adults into a field that was deterioating into a wasteland, filled daily with violence, drugs and death. We determined to take this challenge by the horns, and invest what God is blessing us with, into the mentoring and discipling of young men and women for fields of ministry both locally and internationally.
With another winter quickly approaching, our Outdoor ministry, Team Agape, complete with several exciting and adventurous trips, a time of reflection is in order. Knowing that each of us, having been created and blessed by the Creator and Sustaniner of ALL Life, as this growing number of enthusiastic men and women are preparing for a new year filled with anticipation of even greater exploits in the work of HIS Kingdom Harvest, all for the Glory of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. It is during this time of retrospect, that we must take a few minutes to remember, of a distant and long ago place and time, when our Savior and Redeemer was born, conceived of Holy Spirit, birthed in a quiet stable, laid in a manger, watched over by angels and animals, in that beautiful city of David, Bethlehem. That CHRIST-mas present was one that was divinely chosen, inspired by HIS Spirit and then delivered with the greatest of love and compassion that could have only been given from I AM THAT I AM!!!
Entering into that Secret Place HE has for us, we must continue our journey, and move forward into 2006 and beyond with this message of HOPE and HIS Promise of Salvation. The gift HE gave freely, and each of us must accept for the forgiveness of our trespass, receiving our birthright of an inheritance, becoming reconciled as sons and daughters to a gracious and merciful Father, with each of us having encountered HIM in our personal travel down that DeMaskUS road, through this journey of life. Christ having already paid an extremely steep ransom for our reconciliation, assures us of our place in HIS Kingdom of riches when we accept HIS sacrifice and are obedient to HIS calling in our lives, to rule and reign over our present circumstances in this life, and with HIM forever in HIS Kingdom for eternity. HE is the JOY of heaven and was given to us by Jehovah God our Father, HE delivered Peace that exceeds all human comprehension, blessings and provisions given to HIS believers through Holy Spirit, we will HONOR the King of Kings, and PROCLAIM to a lost and dying world, to the everlasting Glory of HIS name, for HE IS the eternal Lover of our soul!
May God richly bless each one of you, who faithfully and continually serve HIM, and are waiting patiently for HIS Triumphant and Glorious return!
