Presenting the Evidence!

Galatians 2:17-20

“If, while we seek to be justified in Christ, it becomes evident that we ourselves are sinners, does that mean that Christ promotes sin? Absolutely not! If I rebuild what I destroyed, I prove that I am a lawbreaker. For through the law I died to the law so that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

As believers of God's WORD, we are to PRESENT ourselves to the world as

GUILTY, for serving the Risen Savior, Jesus Christ!

Surely, some believers will find it difficult to supply this evidence.

For instance, when you are caught driving above the speed limit, you are given a speeding ticket which proves GUILT.

This is understood as being the Letter of the Law, and is enforced with authority resulting in being required to pay a fine or penalty.

Arguably so, the Spirit of the Law contends, you are caught speeding while transporting your wife, who is pregnant, to the hospital; again the evidence of GUILT is present but the situation merits a LIFE SAVING reward!

Concluding that this evidence is supportive of an AQUITTAL!

Saving of a LIFE, rests entirely in the hands of God the Father through Jesus, HIS Son, the Spirit of God exists in a TRUE believer thus providing the evidence that QUILT has been transfered to Christ for HIS sacrifice!

Father, in the midst of my sin, YOU supplied the payment for my quilt!

Jesus, the Holy One, took my sin away and cleared my name in YOUR sight!

For this I am thankful,

and being PARDONED with the promise of eternal life,

I PRESENT myself

Forgiven and Redeemed by YOUR Righteous Judgement!!!
