The Agape Letters
January 4, 2005 Unity of faith!
The common goal of ALL Believers in Christ is to share the gospel.
We have been given much to do, not knowing when Jesus will return.
This is why Believers must unite together and with the Power and Authority given to us by Holy Spirit, continue to share our faith in Jesus.
The easier thing to do would be to argue amongst ourselves the doctrines and formalities.
This is the very attitude that Jesus warned his disciples about, nearing the time that HE would return.
A subject with truth, yet a subject that causes division in the body of Believers.
We must not entangle ourselves in this matter and leave the lost and hurting people around us without HOPE!
Jesus, crucified and resurrected, the ONLY sacrifice worthy before a Holy and Righteous God for forgiveness of our sin, sitting at the RIGHT hand of the The Most High God, awaiting the time to return to earth and receive HIS Bride to spend eternity forever Praising and Worshiping God in HIS presence!
1 Corinthians 1:
(22)Jews demand miraculous signs and Greeks look for wisdom,
(23)but we preach Christ crucified: a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles,
(24)but to those whom God has called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Hebrews 12:
(1)Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
(2)Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
(3)Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart. I know nothing other than this, Ephesians 4:
(29)Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.
(30)And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.
(31)Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice
United we can and will Rejoice in HIS coming!!!
Rejoice!!!
