Keeping Watch!

Everday we are going about life seemingly unaware of those around us that are in need.

We know the answer to their problem(s), but we are unsure how to approach them with the solution.

God's WORD says that Believers are to be ready always to give an answer for the Hope that is in us.

Some look at this to mean something other that being watchful for an opportunity to minister.

Yes, we must be ready to tell about Jesus and HIS love and compassion for which HE entrusted to us the responsibility to share our faith in HIM!

We have been set apart with a mission that includes a knowledge given us by Holy Spirit to keep watch for occasions of service.

1 Peter 3:

(14)But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened.”

(1)But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,

(16)keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander.

Jesus is The Good Shepherd, keeping watch so that HIS flock is cared for.

In us, Holy Spirit gives Power and Authority to proclaim the Good News of Salvation through Jesus our Lord!

Given these and other gifts, prepares us for the mission!

Lost and Hurting people cross our path DAILY without HOPE!!

To us MUCH has been Given, We are Required to Share!!!

Seeing all the hurt, pain and suffering through HIS eyes, is the Watch in which we are to serve obediently.

Not knowing when Jesus will return, we are to Keep Watch over our own hearts, other Believers in Christ and especially those around us that are Lost and without ANY HOPE of finding HIM on their own.
