1 Tammuz 5765 Testimony Demonstrating the Power of God!
1 Corinthians 2:1-5 NIV
When I came to you, brothers, I did not come with eloquence or superior wisdom as I proclaimed to you the testimony about God. For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. I came to you in weakness and fear, and with much trembling. My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words, but with a demonstration of the Spirit's power, so that your faith might not rest on men's wisdom, but on God's power.
As Believers in Christ, our Faith and Hope should rest entirely on God's Power, Holy Spirit, revealing increased knowledge and wisdom of Jesus and HIS testimony!
Christ proclaimed that God the Father and Holy Spirit tesified of HIM being the Son of God, as Paul preached of a RESURRECTED Christ who lives eternally, therefore our salvation from death and separation from God bears evidence of
knowledge gained by revelation from Holy Spirit instead of man's carnal teachings.
Having learned eloquence and superior wisdom from many learned men of his day, Paul proclaims in these scriptures, carnal knowledge does not compare to the message of Christ and HIM crucified!
When our testimony bears witness to the Power of God, having transformed us from a life of condemnation because of sin, into a life of Promise and Hope, we can speak as Paul, fearlessly and with assurance.
Father, place in my mouth those words,
which are taught by YOUR Spirit for my
testimony before all men!
Teaching me deeper TRUTHS of YOUR ways,
Guide me daily as I walk with YOU!!
My Savior and Redeemer LIVES,
offering to all, YOUR wisdom
and knowledge of eternal reconciliation!!!
Amen and Amen!
