HE who owns the field, REAPS the Harvest!

1 Corinthians 3:7-9 NIV

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The man who plants and the man who waters have one purpose, and each will be rewarded according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

As Believers in Christ, we have been chosen to labor in God's fields, planting the Seed of God's WORD, cultivating and and nourishing HIS crop with preaching and teaching, readying them for the Day of Harvest!

Many fellow workers are idly standing by, while a few obedient laborers continue diligently carrying out the desire of the field's owner.

Christ spoke these stirring WORDS of the need for an increase in Matthew 9:37-38;

Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field."

Paul, speaking with authority of Holy Spirit, declares that God's faithful laborers will be REWARDED accordingly!

WE must, as Christ explained, ASK the owner of the field to send more workers, and also strengthen us who are NOW laboring, for which an even GREATER Harvest of souls will be gathered for HIS Glory!

Father, I have heard YOUR calling for laborers,

"Whom Shall I send into MY fields of harvest?"

Answering YOU is my great JOY,

Send me, I say, with tears streaming,

I will go and tarry not,

knowing YOU are the OWNER of the field,

Owner of my soul,

and Lord of the Harvest!!!

Amen
