Joy and Faith in Christ PERFECTED!

Hebrews 12:1-3 NIV

Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

As Believers in Christ, much like a marathon runner who is focused on completing the race, we must endure much to receive the prize that Christ HIMSELF set before us, NOT GROWING WEAK, WEARY and FAINT HEARTED.

Perseverance and Endurance, both given by Holy Spirit as gifts to believers, are qualities that every true believer has which carries them on to VICTORY!

The same Joy that Christ has, knowing beforehand what the PRIZE will be, is for most believers, the pinnacle of FAITH!

Christ, being seated at the right hand of the throne of God, awaits the Glorious Celebration when those who finish the race are presented their reward for having their EYES FIXED on HIM!

Father God, strengthen me through Holy Spirit,

That in FAITH, I continue steadfast on course!

For my ETERNAL Prize awaits,

Being PROMISED to me by HIM

Who sits at YOUR Right Hand!!

Enduring opposition and shame,

My JOY is PERFECTED forever!!!
