Dwelling in an Eternal City!

Hebrew 13:11-14 NIV

The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.

In this country, and in the world as a whole, the freedom to speak of Jehovah God and HIS WORD is being stripped away from Believers at a time when this country and the world need HIM the most!

Christ Jesus, the Holy One of God, being spotless, blameless and without sin, knew of these days of persecution and disgrace.

Having all the traits, qualities and blessings of New Life in Christ, we as believers will bear that same persecution and disgrace for HIS Righteous name in this world!

According to this scripture, we are currently living in a world that will not endure for eternity, yet we have HOPE in HIS promise of an ETERNAL city, where the Saints of God continuously worship HIM for eternity!

Our Faith being strengthened by Holy Spirit each day as we watch and wait for Christ to return, is allowing unbelievers to witness HIS manifest presence in us, proclaiming citizenship of an Eternal Holy City prepared for HIS people!!!

O' Lord, as I look to YOU for my comfort,

YOU deliver an overflow of blessings!

Prepare me now for the days to come,

When men will seek to persecute and disgrace me!!

For YOUR Glory I will stand,

Having the Promise of Eternal Life

In YOUR Holy City of Heaven!!!
