From Old to BOLD!!!

1 Peter 1:13-16 NIV

Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy".

Are we then also called to be holy, just as Peter, James, John and Paul were called, being conformed from evil and selfish desires to righteousness and holiness in Christ Jesus?

As Believers we must continue desiring to live righteous and holy before a Holy and Righteous God!

Holy Spirit is God's quarantee to believers, preparing our hearts and minds, correcting us by revealing more understanding of HIS desire for us as HIS children.

Only by our obedience is our hope fully developed, being set on HIS grace!

In ignorance we could not change our desires from evil to good, only by God's Spirit is our transformation from that OLD life to a BOLD life revealed in Christ.

Holiness in believers brings Greater Glory to our Father God, as unbelievers witness our obedience to HIM, continuing to love them while they are still sinners, just as Christ loved us and gave HIS life for us!!!

O" Lord my God, as Holy Spirit reveals more TRUTH,

YOUR Holiness is what I long for!

YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS is what I need!!

Prepare me as a vessel worthy,

To carry YOUR Gospel to the lost and dying,

Sharing my overflow of JOY and HOPE of Salvation

From old and dead TO BOLD and ALIVE in Christ!!!
