Serving Christ Proves God's Surpassing Grace!

2 Corinthians 9:13-15 NIV

Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else. And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

We as Believers in Christ must be reminded of this, the ministry and witness of other believers may not seem effective to us in the regard as to how we may understand service to Christ.

The unsurpassing grace given freely from God to those who obediently serve Christ, will in every way prove that God can and will use us effectively whenever and wherever we may be!

The Apostle Paul wrote frequently to believers about God's Grace concerning forgiveness of sin, for which we also stuggle against daily.

Also writing of the effectiveness of the Gospel of Christ, the Apostle Paul reminded them of their service to THE RISEN SAVIOR, and to be careful of mijudging the obedience of other believers who also faithfully serve Christ!

If we must measure the effectiveness of any ministry concerning the gospel, we must also use the gift of GRACE that is manifest through Holy Spirit as a vital part of that measurement!!!

O' Gracious and Loving Father,

How I long for more of YOU!

Each passing day, I look to serve YOU obediently

knowing YOUR forgiveness exceeds comprehension!!

For this I am thankful, being taught by Holy Spirit,

that YOUR Grace given to me freely, proves

every WORD of the Gospel to be TRUTH!!!
