Gaining Everything in Christ, PRICELESS!

Philippians 3:7-11 NIV

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

Where we find the Apostle Paul in this writing about sharing in sufferings and becoming increasingly like Christ, is where gaining increased Knowledge of Christ and HIS Power through Holy Spirit manifests God's Righteousness in our lives.

Paul, having great knowledge of the Laws of God, being a Pharisee of Pharisees, learning only what his earthly teacher could teach him about God through the Law, considered his former knowledge rubbish, WORTHLESS in comparison to the PRICELESS revelation of Christ and HIS Resurrection!!!

Only when Paul met Christ, the Teacher of Teachers, having received God's promise of Holy Spirit, receiving an inheritance far greater than earthly riches, could Paul now effectively write about losing all things.

Losing the physical limitations associated with knowledge of God and HIS Messiah Christ, afforded him the inheritance of God's Spirit and by Paul's FAITH, received an even greater knowledge of God's Holiness and Righteous!

With KNOWLEDGE comes POWER,

             having POWER brings RICHES!

                          HALLELUJAH!!!

O' Great and Mighty Father, I am YOUR child,

Adopted because of my faith in Christ!

Becoming an heir and joint heir with HIM,

I gladly receive YOUR Riches, Power from Holy Spirit

and greater Knowledge of YOU through that faith!!

My inheritance includes YOUR PROMISE of

Holy Spirit and Eternal Life,

gaining everything which Christ endured,

For a Resurrection from that death to myself!!!
