The Fruit Stand!

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and selfcontrol. Against such things there is no law.

Could you ever imagine stopping to purchase fruit from one of those roadside stands only to find tasteless or rotting fruit instead?

How, you may ask, does this apply to believers and the common mistake that fruit of the Spirit is not a result of righteousness?

As a Believer in Christ, you are commanded to bear much fruit, upon offering your fruit to others, have you produced the ripest and sweetest fruit possible?

Consider how you smell, squeeze and observe the fruit at the stand, before you commit to taking some home!

If the fruit does not have the quality that you desire, then you do not take any when you leave!!!

Unwanted fruit is left for the next passerby, therefore undesireable fruit continues to ROT and STINK.

Can a Believer in Christ

be a supplier of this kind of FRUIT???

Unbelievers are expecting GOOD FRUIT, substantial nourishment for their hungry soul!

Only through Christ and HIS Holy Spirit does HIS fruit satisfy that hunger!

I myself, desire to be a supplier of HIS fruit,

knowing that I bring HONOR to the TREE of Life,

Planted by HIM beside the RIVER of Life,

Believing HIS Promise of Eternal LIFE,

Holy Spirit of God, Bear HIS FRUIT through me!!!
