Continue on the Faithful Course!

Hebrews 6:1-6

Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment. And God permitting, we will do so. It is impossible for those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, who have shared in the Holy Spirit, who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age, if they fall away, to be brought back to repentance, because to their loss they are crucifying the Son of God all over again and subjecting him to public disgrace.

In the coming days, Believers in Christ will be remembering the last days of Christ and the agony HE bore after the Last Supper, during HIS trial, the beating HE withstood, the mocking and betrayal, HIS disgraceful crucifixion and HIS Glorious Resurrection.

Many of us will have memories of the movie Passion of the Christ, and will once again relive the deep sadness that overtook us in the days after we viewed the horror that Christ faced for our sin.

We, as believers are urged to CONTINUE, FAITHFULLY and WITHOUT HESITATION, remain ON COURSE, trusting HIM for our salvation and hope, knowing that HE gave HIS life that we may enjoy HIS WORD and restored communion with Father God.

Drawing any conclusion other than confession and repentance of sin, continually petitioning for mercy, would leave us without experiencing Spiritual maturity in Christ as HE PROMISED after HIS Resurrection!

Therefore I must bear witness to God's Power of resurrection in my life, Continuing on the Faithful Course by which HE has directed me to follow!

Great is Thy Faithfullness in all the earth!

Lord, I remember YOUR sacrifice,

Only by YOUR blood, am I forgiven!!

By YOUR Resurrection and Promise of Holy Spirit,

I am maturing in my FAITH, bearing witness of YOU, O' Lord!!!
