Love through Obedience to HIM!

2 John 1:4-6

It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us. And now, I am not writing you a new command but one we have had from the beginning. I ask that we love one another. And this is love: that we walk in obedience to his commands. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is that you walk in love.

As Believers in Christ, we are commanded to obediently love one another.

Our present love for others must increase, deepened by our love for Christ.

To love those who love us is easy, loving those that hurt us is evidence of sacrifice.

A perfect portrayal of Christ during HIS crucifixion!

Jesus was obedient to HIS Father, obeying in love, dying for those who did not love HIM!

We must love just as Christ loved, being obedient until our death.

Sacrificing everything, HE gave honor to God!

From the beginning, Christ walked in love, observing God's love for us.

It is only by obedience, are we able to love others, observing the love Christ displayed by obedience.

Greater love has no man than this,

Laying down his life for another.

If I must die, I must die to my self,

That in obedience to Christ,

I give Honor to HIM,

While I was still in my sin,

Christ loved me enough to die for me that I might Live!!!
