The Obedience of Sowing into Ministry!

2 Corinthians 9:5-7

So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers to visit you in advance and finish the arrangements for the generous gift you had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous gift, not as one grudgingly given. Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.

Christ Jesus taught HIS disciples the importance of giving according to the need.

As Believers, in obedience we should be reminded of Paul's need that was make known by his writings to the churches that he had ministered to throughout his travels.

Paul, being called of God to proclaim Christ as the Messiah, Savior and Lord, gave up his position as persecutor of the early church.

In doing so, he forfeited ALL monetary provision that came from the appointment serving the High Priest and the Jewish council that were dedicated to quieting the new Believers in Christ.

Nothing has changed over the past 2000 years, believers are still sacrificing their wages and prestigious positions to follow our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.

Even today, in the body of Christ, the church, there are believers who are blessed abundantly with finances that are willing to sow into ministry sacrificially.

God's law of return is just as valid today as it was during Old Testament times.

The reading of these Holy Spirit inspired words spoken by Paul to the church in Corinth, every believer should be obedient in the financing necessary for the needs and growth of proclaiming the gospel and the ministry of those who are serving Christ, who are depending on the obedience of cheerful givers.

Sowing financially into ministry is scriptural, and in order to be obedient all believers must support those who have sacrificed to obey God's call!

O' Great Jehovah ElShaddai, YOU are all sufficient!

Supplying every blessing, proving YOU are Faithful,

Taking every opportunity to raise me up,

In order that YOUR WORD be proclaimed!!

I will shout from this mountain,

Having received YOUR answer, Yes and Amen, to my every need!!!
