Are we there yet?

Jude 1:17-23

But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. They said to you, "In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires." These are the men who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit. But you, dear friends, build yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit. Keep yourselves in God's love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to eternal life. Be merciful to those who doubt; snatch others from the fire and save them; to others show mercy, mixed with fear hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh.

As Believers in Christ, do we ask ourselves enough questions concerning our own spiritual growth in faith and about other believers and their growth?

These WORDS from God, inspired by Holy Spirit as revealing as they are to HIS children, remind us to

Build OURSELVES UP in OUR Most HOLY Faith,

PRAYING in Holy Spirit,

to quide us continually closer to God's prepared destination for Believers..

God's Old Testament example of the prophet Elijah, being taken up into heaven, was for Elisha to WITNESS a foreshadowing of the last days of man and be strengthened in his faith for future service to Jehovah God.

After witnessing Elijah being taken up, Elisha was confronted by other prophets of God, who desired healing for the well in Jericho.

Elisha, obeying Holy Spirit, took a NEW bowl putting SALT in it, and CASTING it out upon the unproductive well.

This ONE event is a COMPLETE vision of Christ, the Living Water, who takes us as believers being the salt of the earth, casts us into the world, and provides eternal life in and through HIM.

We as Believers in Christ must obey, seeking by Prayer in God's Spirit, Listening to HIS direction through Holy Spirit, if we are to EVER

KEEP OURSELVES in God's LOVE!!!

Father, I was LOST in my travels through this life,

YOUR Spirit lead me to YOUR Son, Jesus!

HIM being the LIVING WATER,

Baptizing me with Holy Spirit!!

Directing me in the travels of my NEW LIFE,

Promising to DELIVER me SAFELY

to my new HOME prepared in YOUR GLORY!!!
