8 Cheshvan 5766 The TRUTH of Understanding!
Acts 28:25-28 NIV
They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: "The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your forefathers when he said through Isaiah the prophet:
For this people's heart has become calloused;
Otherwise they might see with their eyes,
"Therefore I want you to know that God's salvation has been sent to the Gentiles, and they will listen!"

In the Book of The Acts of the Apostles, the Apostle Luke has recorded for us a rather stinging confrontation between the leaders of the Jews who were in the city of Rome, and the Apostle Paul, who had been transfered from Jerusalem, under guard and in chains of captivity, to be brought before the Roman Emperor Ceasar.
Within the boundaries of our modern day culture, the consciousness of any society, (ie. current accepted understanding of governmental and religious opposition), we are quite incapable in comprehending this scenario.
As Believers in Christ, we must not scramble, dilute or misinterpret the WORDs that Paul spoke in his defense of Christ Jesus as Lord, REIGNING over all the earth!
Paul's reference to the Prophet Isaiah, had such a profound implication, such that the Jewish leaders were astonished that a prisoner in chains could be so BOLD in his speech, even while awaiting such a dark eclipse to a lifetime of brilliant ministry following and serving the KING of KINGS!!!
Why is it then, so many have turned their backs to God's Spirit, when acceptance of HIS Revelation could RELEASE them from their bondage and captivity to sin?
O' Lord, because I know my REDEEMER lives,
I will continuously proclaim HIS Love!
YOU delivered me from heavy chains of bondage,
granting FREEDOM and LIBERTY,
broadening my understanding of YOUR TRUTH!!
No man can hold me, No other spirit control me,
Only YOUR Spirit, will guide, strengthen
and direct my remaining days!!!
Magnify the Name of Jesus! Glory and Honor, forever! Amen
