HIS Approval Rating!

1 Thessalonians 2:1-6 NIV

You know, brothers, that our visit to you was not a failure. We had previously suffered and been insulted in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you his gospel in spite of strong opposition. For the appeal we make does not spring from error or impure motives, nor are we trying to trick you. On the contrary, we speak as men approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please men but God, who tests our hearts. You know we never used flattery, nor did we put on a mask to cover up greed—God is our witness. We were not looking for praise from men, not from you or anyone else.

As Believers in Christ continue telling the Gospel around the world despite severe opposition which grows more violent each day, we know God approves and entrusts HIS faithful with an increase of favor and revelation through HIS Spirit.

The Apostle Paul firmly addressed the questionable attitude of the assembly in Phillipi, an attitude voiced by some who sought to discredit not only Paul, but also the Gospel of Christ.

We must give Honor and Praise to our Lord, asking HIM to silence those within the Body of Christ who are deceiving an ever increasing number of weaker believers with false testimony concerning HIS faithful laborers within the Kingdom of TRUTH!

Father, YOUR testing of my heart,

brings me to my knees!

It is where I voice my cry,

YOU are Holy and Righteous, O'Lord!!

In all that I do,

and with all that I am,

I will worship YOU!!!
