Resist being DECEIVED by foolishness!

2 Corinthians 11:18-21 NIV

Since many are boasting in the way the world does, I too will boast. You gladly put up with fools since you are so wise! In fact, you even put up with anyone who enslaves you or exploits you or takes advantage of you or pushes himself forward or slaps you in the face. To my shame I admit that we were too weak for that!

As Believers in Christ are admonished to walk daily in LOVE, we are also reminded to be discerning of every spirit, testing each against God's WORD. The Apostle Paul also wrote in Romans 16:19, "but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil."

There are numerous warnings in God's WORD about those who would come portraying evil as RIGHTEOUSNESS, teaching and preaching what seems to be TRUTH, yet they deceive and convince many to believe lies about the simplicity of sin.

Paul's reference of being too weak to accept foolishness as the TRUTH of God, he admits his shame in weakness and boldly proclaims strength in Christ, by the POWER of Holy Spirit!

Father, I believe YOUR Son is TRUTH,

for my salvation rests in HIM!

Guide me by Holy Spirit,

keep me innocent of all deception!!

More discernment of YOUR wisdom,

is my heart's desire, O'Lord!!!

Amen
