Keeping WATCH, have you seen any wolves?

Matthew 7:15-20 NIV

"Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.

As Believers, our Shepherd, Christ Jesus strongly warns us of the dangers of ignoring those false prophets who come deceitfully into the flock!

They have not entered in by the narrow gate, but have bolstered their way over the hedge and convinced many by their false presence that they are also righteous.

Christ mentions good fruit, produced by a good tree, ironic as it may sound,

that TREE stood on Calvary's hill 2000 years ago!!!

What kind of FRUIT is the TREE of Life bearing in our lives?

LOOKS good but tastes bad,

looks bad tastes bad----

NOTICE Christ never mentions of any bad fruit EVER tasting good, although HE does mention in this verse however, that an ALL CONSUMING FIRE will destroy the bad tree along with the fruit belonging to it!!!

O'Lord, as a sheep needing YOUR constant care,
Watch over me as my journey nears home!
Guide me each day by Holy Spirit,
Keep me safe, well fed and strong!!
Through the narrow gate I now pass,
into YOUR presence once more!!!

Amen
