Gaining MORE through Christ each day!

Philippians 3:7-11 NIV

But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ—the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.

The Apostle Paul, having given evidence in the preceeding verses, was before his miraculous conversion, considered himself as righteous as any person could be, according to a foretaste of knowledge concerning God's law.

It was only after his conversion experience, did Paul come to a deeper understanding through Holy Spirit, of the TRUTH and RIGHTEOUSNESS of KNOWING Christ as Lord 1st, then gaining an even deeper perspective by divine revelation of Christ, as his Savior.

It is within these few short verses, here Paul proclaims such a profound wisdom, knowing that many will receive, but will only accept a partial understanding of Christ, and that being, of HIM as their Savior!

Gaining far less of the entire revelation of Christ, by the POWER and AUTHORITY of Holy Spirit, and therefore they are as Paul states, being as one who is just escaping the flames, and never completely embracing the totality of their inheritance granted to them in Christ, by HIS RESURRECTION, and only after that, then becoming Lord over their heart's!!!

O'Lord, each day I am amazed at YOUR Glory,
but where can I now go,
but more into YOUR infinite presence,
than I have ever been before!
I can turn neither left nor right,
without receiving a glimpse of YOU,
only with the eyes of YOUR Holy Spirit!!
Even more, that I HEAR YOUR voice,
so plainly, that I stop, fall on my face,
crying HOLY HOLY HOLY,
are YOU, mighty God, everlasting Father!!

Hallelujah!
