What's with this FIRE thingy!

Jude 1:3-7 NIV

Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt I had to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to the saints. For certain men whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are godless men, who change the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their own home—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day. In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire.

While today there are Believers in Christ who are living God's WORD in their lives, claiming victory each day through Christ and HIS blood, there are some who continue living down that victory in Christ, HIS death and resurrection, to a point of expressing disgrace when refusing to share the TRUTH with others.

Christ tells us as plainly as HE possibly could, as HIS WORD is recorded in Matthew chapter 7, verses 21-23;

"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?'

Then I will tell them plainly,

'I never knew you.

Away from me, you evildoers!'

HIS TRUTH, having eternal consequence,

IT is NOT about you,
or who you claim you know,
rather,
TRUTH IS about HIM,
the Holy ONE WHO KNOWS you,
and according to HIS WORD,
HE will confess that HE KNOWS you,
because of faithful obedience and service!!!

The scenario which Christ refers to, is for each of us to know and understand, as that day we come before the throne of God, each giving an account for our lives!

Father, may each of my days be doing YOUR will,
that from my lips, I offer a testimony of YOUR Son!
For it is all about HIM, my Savior and Lord,
that I am able to confess HIM before all men!!
I must then shout from every mountaintop,
Christ, for HE alone is King of Kings,
and Lord of Lords, Master of everything!!!

Hallelujah and Praise HIS Holy Name!!!
