28 Tishri 5766 Performance Evaluation of Kingdom Works!
Philippians 3:7-11 NIV
But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from the dead.
Having duties to perform in a specific job, requires a person to exert some form of energy to accomplish a task or produce some type of a product.
Some job descriptions are extremely vague, some are understated, some ridicuously demanding and for others, non-existent according to this world's view of a workers evaluation.
Each Believer in Christ, knowing HIS specific calling in the arena of labor, must be found on the job, performing our duties and producing fruit according to God's principles of sowing and reaping for HIS harvest.
Labor strikes, vacations, sick leave or retirement, (all of these in the spiritual sense), are not to be found or even defined as benefits for any worker in the Kingdom of God, according to HIS WORD!
How then, is God's Kingdom to profit,
Father, YOUR Spirit trains me daily,
for the duties of my labor!
All I desire is for YOUR kingdom to profit,
By YOUR Power and for YOUR Purpose!!
Honor and Glory to Christ my King,
that HIS harvest be abundant in season!!!
Amen
