Powerful Living by God's Spirit!

1 Samuel 10:6 NIV

The Spirit of the LORD will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.

As recorded here, Samuel has obeyed the Lord in choosing the man Saul, as king of Israel.

Keep in mind, Saul was already different from all the other Israelites, being a head taller than all the other men.

Being from the smallest tribe of Benjamin, Saul was chosen by God, as a sign distinquishing the extraordinary from the ordinary.

When Samuel spoke to Saul, repeating exactly, the WORD of the Lord, Power from God's Spirit changed Saul into a leader of a nation from a lesser known existence among his fellow Israelites.

Many times this same transformation takes place even today, God chooses a leader and anoints them with HIS Spirit for extraordinary service in the kingdom of believers.

It is best that we recognize those who have been chosen by God, just as Samuel did, regardless of their current status or lifestyle, whereby they are changed by Holy Spirit for leadership of others.

Father, YOUR Spirit moves with Power

over me each day as I serve YOU!

Changing me into an obedient

and powerful witness in YOUR kingdom!!

I will honor YOU, O' Lord,

For YOU chose those who will lead,

anointing them to live differently!!!
