Being Guarded with God's Peace in Christ!

Philippians 4:4-7 NIV

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

This letter from the apostle Paul, in every way extends the understanding of God's Peace, to the believers in Phillipi, with a reminder of the gentleness that Christ portrayed in HIS life.

Rejoicing always, in every situation, as Paul states, an understanding of spiritual contentment is our waiting obediently on God to perform HIS will and HIS purpose regarding our requests and petitions, and expressing our thanksgiving for HIS unmerited favor.

God's Peace, given to Believers in Christ, by Holy Spirit overcomes the anxiety of evil, which terrorizes those without a relationship and an understanding of Christ through revelation from Holy Spirit, which can only be received from God by accepting Christ as our Redeemer!

Allowing this, choosing Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior, HIM alone being able to guard each believer's heart and mind against the attack from the enemy and not relying on human understanding and wisdom.

O' Lord, YOUR calm assurance covers me,

my actions and thoughts subject ONLY to YOUR WILL!

Entreating me daily with Joy and Hope,

with every breath that I take!!

Clothe me completely with Peace by YOUR Spirit,

to be vigilant in my service to Christ!!!

Amen
