Teaching Submissive Believers in Christ!

2 Timothy 3:14-17 NIV

But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

The young disciple Timothy, having received teaching during his childhood, was ADMONISHED to CONTINUE in his LEARNING.

Paul the Apostle, having also been trained and taught, NEVER STOPPED seeking MORE Knowledge of God and HIS Son, Christ Jesus!

The intended reference, "to make you WISE", is in every way, a COMMAND to LEARN!!!

Only by CONTINUING in OBEDIENCE to the teaching of those from who are equipped by Holy Spirit, will young disciples GAIN anything from teachers who have experienced the Glory of God through study, prayer and revelation

By SUBMITTING to God's Authority, and denying the rebellious and sinful nature which opposes EVERY USEFUL and GOOD WORK of Christ Jesus, will EVERY young believer receive instruction for OBEDIENCE and SERVICE!!!

O'Lord, I set my face towards YOU,

for instruction in my daily walk!

Learning more of YOU and YOUR WORD,

requires me to LISTEN and OBEY!!

There is foolishness in rebellion,

and I SUBMIT my WILL to LEARN of YOU,

for an INCREASE in my inheritance!!!
