"Consolation!"

"What God does for us!"

2 Corinthians 1:9-11 (Amplified Bible)

Indeed, we felt within ourselves that we had received the [very] sentence of death, but that was to keep us from trusting in and depending on ourselves instead of on God Who raises the dead. [For it is He] Who rescued and saved us from such a perilous death, and He will still rescue and save us; in and on Him we have set our hope (our joyful and confident expectation) that He will again deliver us [from danger and destruction and draw us to Himself], While you also cooperate by your prayers for us [helping and laboring together with us]. Thus [the lips of] many persons [turned toward God will eventually] give thanks on our behalf for the grace (the blessing of deliverance) granted us at the request of the many who have prayed.

It seems that many Believers in Christ feel as the Apostle Paul did.

Knowing the overwhelming number of troubles and persecutions, yet we must unwaveringly rely on God, as Paul did, to Comfort and Rescue us from death which Christ Jesus overcame by HIS Resurrection.

We must, as Paul encouraged the Corinthians, be continually in prayer for ourselves and others who are constantly being bombarded with every kind of peril and calamity.

This one thing, believers united in prayer for each other, is what Paul was reminding them and us as well, would draw us deeper in our relationship with God!

And in prayer, both for our own deliverance and the deliverance of other believers, our relationship with each other believers will also be strengthened.

It is with the same confidence that the Apostle Paul had, knowing that God will grant our request, believing HIS WORD which says that HIS answers are Yes and Amen, when we humble ourselves before HIM and seek HIS face!

O'Lord, I will Glorify YOU each day,
because YOU died and rose again,
that I might be Delivered and made Whole!
Look favorably upon me now,
as I seek YOU with all my heart,
and to serve YOU with Joy!!
Bless those who read this, I pray,
and deliver them from every deadly snare
that has been set by the enemy!!!
O'Lord, YOU are my Shield and my Strength!

Forever and Amen!!!
