"Comparison!"

"Being of HIS Likeness!"

Galatians 6:2-5 (Amplified Bible)

Bear (endure, carry) one another's burdens and troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) and complete what is lacking [in your obedience to it]. For if any person thinks himself to be somebody [too important to condescend to shoulder another's load] when he is nobody [of superiority except in his own estimation], he deceives and deludes and cheats himself. But let every person carefully scrutinize and examine and test his own conduct and his own work. He can then have the personal satisfaction and joy of doing something commendable [in itself alone] without [resorting to] boastful comparison with his neighbor. For every person will have to bear (be equal to understanding and calmly receive) his own [little] load [of oppressive faults].

Oh, how easy it is to Measure and Compare our own faults against those of our brothers and sisters in the Lord.

The Apostle Pauls says, every Believer in Christ must carefully scrutinize our own conduct, examining and testing ourselves in comparison to Christ, for HE alone is the example worthy of that Honor!

If for one second, I think more highly of myself than I should, having a greater estimation of who or what I am, then as Paul states, I have mislead and even cheated myself, because I have not observed the the perfect law of Christ, nor have I fulfilled HIS commandment to bear another believer's burdens and faults.

Obedience to Christ, should be my ultimate desire, for HE is able by HIS Spirit to bless me with those good things from HIS bountiful storehouse of blessing, and as Paul later reveals, I will reap eternal life rather than a life of decay, ruin and destruction.

Therefore from my Obedience, I will receive greater Satisfaction and unmeasurable JOY, knowing that I am being made complete in HIS likeness, which pleases my Father God!

O'Lord, I desire to Honor YOU as my Deliverer,
and strive to encourage and exhort others who are hurting!
I must always remember YOUR sacrifice ,
as YOU bore willingly and lovingly my every fault,
to that dreadful Cross, where I received YOUR forgiveness!!
YOUR Spirit is and will always strengthen me,
as I bring the cares and burdens of others,
laying them at YOUR feet!!!
Desiring myself to be more like YOU!
O'Lord, YOU are my Joy and my Strength!!!

Forever and Amen!!!
