I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, ..... .....Each of us must take these WORDs as instruction, understanding the depth of God's desire to answer our prayers depending upon our obedience to HIS Will.

Matthew 6:25-27 NIV "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? ..... How much more do we need to realize just how important we are to God?

"A Future with HOPE!" 1 Peter 1:18-21 NIV For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your forefathers, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. .... Those perishable things, such as silver and gold, are what many have placed their future hope and faith in for security and comfort.

"Joy in the Lord!" 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 Amplified Bible Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily..... Yes, as Believers in Christ we are to REJOICE that TRUTH and Righteousness prevails in our lives as the working of God's Love flows through us.

"Knowing Eternal TRUTH!" 1 Corinthians 13:11-12 Amplified Bible When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; now that I have become a man, I am done with childish ways..... It is a magnificent thing to know more about God and HIS Love for us by HIS Spirit, who reveals the many TRUTHs that were previously clouded by our immaturity.

For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery..... For Believers in Christ, having been born of God's Holy Spirit, we are no longer slaves to anything that causes fear, guilt or hopelessness.

Hebrews 9:13-14 Amplified Bible For if [the mere] sprinkling of unholy and defiled persons with blood of goats and bulls and with the ashes of a burnt heifer is sufficient for the purification of the body, How much more surely shall the blood of Christ,.... Yes, the Precious Blood of Jesus was freely given as the supreme sacrifice for our redemption, from the slavery of sin, from which we ourselves were unable by any means of our own actions to gain Liberty and Freedom.

"United and Powerful!" 1 Corinthians 12:11-13 (Amplified Bible) All these [gifts, achievements, abilities] are inspired and brought to pass by one and the same [Holy] Spirit, Who apportions to each person individually [exactly] as He chooses..... Just as true Believers in Christ receive HIS Promised Spirit, who joins us in fellowship with God and other believers, we must also remember that we are given gifts by God to strengthen and prosper both in our faith and the work of spreading the Good News of Christ Jesus to a world of lost and dying people without HOPE!

Volume VII Page XII Monday April 24, 2006       "Contribution!" "What does God expect!" 2 Corinthians 8:7-9 (Amplified Bible) Now as you abound and excel and are at the front in everything--in faith, in expressing yourselves, in knowledge, in all zeal, and in your love for us--[see to it that you come to the front now and] abound and excel in this gracious work [of almsgiving] also. I give this not as an order [to dictate to you], but to prove, by [pointing out] the zeal of others, the sincerity of your [own] love also..... As the Apostle Paul outlines the Grace of our Lord, HIS favor and blessing upon me and in my life, I am asking myself these questions with much conviction!

Volume VII Page XIII Tuesday April 25, 2006       "Consolation!" "What God does for us!" 2 Corinthians 1:9-11 (Amplified Bible) Indeed, we felt within ourselves that we had received the [very] sentence of death, but that was to keep us from trusting in and depending on ourselves instead of on God Who raises the dead. [For it is He] Who rescued and saved us from such a perilous death,.... It seems that many Believers in Christ feel as the Apostle Paul did. Knowing the overwhelming number of troubles and persecutions, yet we must unwaveringly rely on God, as Paul did, to Comfort and Rescue us from death which Christ Jesus overcame by HIS Resurrection....

"Not a Mangled Mixture!" 2 Peter 3:14-18 (New International Version) So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him.... When listening for God to speak to me through HIS Spirit or HIS WORD, I am drawn back to the fact that Christ lovingly brings so many different people together into fellowship as believers. ....

"HIS Message of Hope!" 2 Corinthians 5:5-7 (Amplified Bible) Now He Who has fashioned us [preparing and making us fit] for this very thing is God, Who also has given us the [Holy] Spirit as a guarantee [of the fulfillment of His promise]. So then, we are always full of good and hopeful and confident courage;.... I am encouraged by the WORDs of the Apostle Paul, where he mentions in great detail what our Lord has promised us who believe and follow HIM by Faith, that we will also be with HIM in the Holy Presence of God for eternity. ....

Galatians 6:2-5 (Amplified Bible) Bear (endure, carry) one another's burdens and troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) and complete what is lacking [in your obedience to it]..... Oh, how easy it is to Measure and Compare our own faults against those of our brothers and sisters in the Lord. ....
