"Consumed by God's Holy Fire!"
The Sacrifice of my body, those desires of the flesh, is necessary in my life as an obedient Believer in Christ.
Something spectacular happened on that Day of Pentecost, Holy Fire of God fell upon those men who stood proclaiming Jesus as Christ, Savior and Risen Lord. [Acts 2:3,4]
Unlike the flesh of bulls and goats, those past offerings which were placed upon the altar, being totally consumed by the Fire of God from heaven, but now Believers in Christ are able to offer their own bodies as living sacrifices, to be completely engulfed by God's Spirit. [Romans 12:1]
The Precious Blood of Jesus, which HE HIMself sprinkled upon the altar in heaven, now makes allowance for our bodies to be offered symbolically as a burnt offering, acceptable to be used as vessels of worship.
Spreading the Good News, that everlasting Gospel of Christ, like a raging fire that burns across a dry and barren land, our hearts must be completely consumed by Holy Spirit, God's Holy Fire.
