What could be more exciting than to be reunited with a close and dear friend whom you thought to be dead, but was now alive and talked with you as you went about your daily activities.

The Apostle Luke records that two men who were followers of Christ, Cleopas and another disciple, having left Jerusalem just a few hours earlier that day, did not completely understand the events of the past 3 days concerning Jesus.

As Christ revealed HIMself through the Scriptures, their eyes were opened and they recognized that their hearts burned within them, because earlier they were grieving HIS passing, but now they rejoiced in HIS Presence.

I experienced the same flaming passion, a burning within my heart, when my eyes were opened to the Truth that my Risen Savior and Lord is alive, and as these 2 men, I must run and tell as many who will listen,

HE Lives!!!

 

O'Lord, I thank YOU for opening my eyes, guiding my wandering soul to YOUR Glorious Light! HIS Passion and Promise of Life burns within me, for I desire to be YOUR witness everyday!! Of Holy Fire consuming me to the very depths, an unquenched and raging flame of Hope, spreading HIS Gospel of Salvation with Joy!!!
