"Blameless, NOT Flameless!"

"HIS Purifying Fire!"

1 Thessalonians 5:16-24 (New International Version)

Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not put out the Spirit's fire; do not treat prophecies with contempt. Test everything. Hold on to the good. Avoid every kind of evil. May God himself, the God of peace, sanctify you through and through. May your whole spirit, soul and body be kept blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.

A large portion of the Apostle Paul's teachings were written to remind Believers in Christ of the importance of God's Spirit as a living part of HIS plan, having a defined purpose of purification and empowerment.

Fire comes down from heaven, purifying God's chosen faithful and obedient servants, and destroys the wicked among every generation.

In Leviticus 10:1-3, Moses and Aaron witnessed God's Holy Fire as it consumed Nadab and Abihu for their act of disobedience by using unholy fire upon the altar.

In 2 Kings 2:11-12, Elisha witnessed God's Holy Fire, as a chariot which took Elijah up toward heaven.

Blameless in God's sight, requires that we be purified by HIS Spirit of Fire.

HIS Flame of Righteousness will consume the lives of Believers, burning within them an unquenchable desire to be Obedient and Faithful.

O'Lord, set my heart on Fire,
purify me from all unrighteousness!
Fill my days with more of YOU,
that I might serve YOU with Joy!!
Brand me YOURs as a possession of worth,
to be a flame burning for YOUR Glory!!!

Praise to HIS Holy Name! Forever and Ever,
Amen!
