"tHEre is More!"

"Than Just Good Thoughts!"

Matthew 11:2-6 (New International Version)

When John heard in prison what Christ was doing, he sent his disciples to ask him, "Are you the one who was to come, or should we expect someone else?" Jesus replied, "Go back and report to John what you hear and see: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cured, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is preached to the poor. Blessed is the man who does not fall away on account of me."

When Jesus told the disciples of John, to go back and report what they were hearing and seeing, was this confirmation for John or was it for the disciples, that Jesus was the Christ, Lord and Savior?

This much I do know, that just as the angelic host of heaven heralded the birth of the Christ child, and John told of the Holy One of God, who must increase, I too must proclaim the Resurrected Lord and Savior to the world, of HIM who gave HIS Life, establishing a covenant with Holy Spirit as a quarantee of HIS Majesty and Power.

Where God did release Peter from the chains of imprisonment as recorded in Acts 12:7, HE chose to forever seal both John's lips and his testimony of Jesus in the pages of history, in order that believers could receive the outpouring of HIS Spirit into their lives where those chains of bondage would be forever broken by HIS Son, our Redeemer.

Many people will possibly never know the Joy and Salvation which comes from Faith in Christ, if we choose not to carry the Gospel to the blind, lame, sick and poor, whom Jesus said we would have with us always.

Father, by YOUR Spirit my lips speak with boldness,
of my Lord who gave testimony of YOU!
With Power and Authority from Holy Spirit,
I am moved to herald the Gift of Life!!
Which YOU give only to those who choose,
to believe in Christ Jesus, YOUR Holy One,
sent from heaven to deliver me,
from those chains which for so long,
bound my heart and my lips!!!

Amen!
