Just a few years ago, as the development and use of the internet was becoming more of a necessity in our lives, rather than simply a feature included within a computer, the need for software sentinels increased. Due to the expansive and highly experienced ATTACKS from worms, viruses and information hackers, thereby thrusting many companies to INVEST in the reinforcment of an invisible border which surrounds their most important, yet vulnerable and oftentimes, the unaware occupants of their own computerized kingdom.

As in Old Testament Days, the enlarging population of God's chosen seed, Israel, became INCREASINGLY dependent upon WATCHMAN, as the mounting number of attacks escalated proportionally due to the Israelites growing borders.

Am I as a Believer in Christ, INVESTing more of my resources into the areas of watching and overlooking the border that surrounds the EVER INCREASING(Praise the Lord!) Church?

In those days, my role managing security in the computer information systems department, was to study and understand the techniques used by phishers(not to be confused with FISHERS), and provide the necessary defenses to protect both information and indentity. As seasoned Believers in Christ, our roles are much the same. We are given the commission and duty, by our Lord Jesus Christ, to BE PREPARED and many times CALLED to upon to DEFEND the Gospel of Faith, Love and and Eternal Hope of Salvation!

The 2 most damaging and often used tactics of those intent on STEALING, DESTROYING and eventually KILLING(deleting from the LIST) were, the destruction of IDENTITY and INFORMATION.

Much like a wolf in a sheep's suit, coming in, and most often, welcomed into fellowship oftentimes blinded by love, having brought with them a duty and allegiance to another, bound and bent on ULTIMATE DESTRUCTION! They look, speak and even smell as Believers do, yet their goal is systematic and complete CHAOS!

So important is this role, as both WATCHMAN and TEACHER, Christ Jesus portrays HIMself as TRUTH in these intertwined roles. Of watching wall, hedge and border, with keen eyes and ears, and as a teacher training young disciples and listening for deceptive and disruptive recruits, sometimes dutifully admistering short term discipline, but ALWAYS NOTIFYING the AUTHORITIES of AWOL(Any Witness Of LUCIFER) reporting EACH and EVERY BREACH, duty bound to both Serve and Protect the Body of Christ against ALL ENEMY ATTACKs, whether they come from within or from without the fellowship of HIS church, HIS Body of Believers.
