"The Wrong Wine!"
Who has woe?
Who has sorrow?
Who has strife?
Who has complaints?
Who has needless bruises?
Who has bloodshot eyes?
Those who linger over wine, who go to sample bowls of mixed wine.
Do not gaze at wine when it is red, when it sparkles in the cup, when it goes down smoothly!
You will be like one sleeping on the high seas, lying on top of the rigging.
"They hit me," you will say, "but I'm not hurt!
They beat me, but I don't feel it!
In the devotional yesterday, we read scripture from Acts 2:14-21.
To have a similiar reference to wine today, God IS giving us direction in how we are to daily live our lives,
As a Believer in Christ, we must rely upon the presence and influence of Holy Spirit, both for Power and Authority!
Also, in our bible study last night, we read Acts 1:8;
Believing that God has given Holy Spirit as a Counselor and Comforter to those who faithfully follow Christ, then we MUST ALSO believe this,
