"When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show men they are fasting. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to men that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
As Believers in Christ, we must look to God's WORD for instruction and direction when questions arise concerning OBEDIENCE and FAITHFULLNESS.
It serves for no other purpose than to be diligent in doing God's will and replicating HIS example of living through HIS Son, Christ Jesus.
O'Lord, strong and mighty are YOU,
able to keep me from all harm!
All around me are my enemies,
who attempt to draw my affection from YOU!!
O'Lord, I must bear these and all trials,
to bring YOU all Glory, Honor and Praise YOU deserve!!!
