In those early days of pre-internet, there were many of us who were enjoying using our computers daily to swap information back and forth over the telephone lines. This may interest some of you, and for others it may be of lesser importance. Yet, those late 1980's events were to the forerunners of what is now known as the internet, a CONCEPT many of us shared, but took several more years to come to its fullest potential.

  In your life, is there currently a CONCEPT in your heart that is working HIS way towards completion, and is it under the caring, nurturing and watchful eyes of our loving Father God?

  Without going into any great detail, CONCEPTION, is the planting of a seed, into some form or another of fertile soil, with the HOPE of a Harvest or a return greater than our initial investment. Whatever it may be, our time, our money or some other VALUED resource that we have, this SEED is 1st planted, secondly it is then cultivated for a period of time with expectations of producing a greater HARVEST or return from the former labors.

  As in the case of the internet, the CONCEPT was followed by the labor of many, who took the initiative to invest a major portion of their resources, and corporately work towards a common goal of building a worldwide network of computers to share information with others around the world.

  I remember as an child, sharing the duties of gardening with my parents. My daddy would have the seed we were to plant, a particular area was then selected, and BELIEVING with great anticipation, that a wonderful harvest of vegetables would SOON be enjoyed, after our months of labor. We would plant the seed into each row, and when the last portion of that particular seed was placed in the soil, he would take the seed packet and place it on a stick, MARKing the end of 1 type of plant and the beginning of another. When we reached the end of the next row planting a different type of seed, he would repeat the seed packet and stick procedure, marking them as he had done on the previous row. Then we would fertilize the soil, cultivate the growing plants and after a period of time, see the product of our laborous efforts.

  This internet or world wide web, is the end results, or HARVEST of many who labored in the early fields of computers, establishing MARKERS, which actually are what the internet is formed from. Combining these corporate efforts of those earlier pioneers who sought a worldwide answer to many obstacles, we are now able to enjoy so many of the fruits of their tireless labors today.
