As the Apostle Paul was writing these WORDs of encouragement for direction to the Colossians, I must continually seek guidance and desire a greater understanding from Holy Spirit as to the plan, direction and purpose for which God predestined for me, even before I was born.

Christ lived HIS life according to the plan designed and laid out by HIS Father, following the direction of Holy Spirit and fulfilled the purpose for which HE was chosen.

The finished work of Christ stands for eternity, the life and works of Paul still stand as a constant reminder to me that I am to live as an example of God's WORD, dependent upon Christ totally and completely, and not becoming dependent on worldly tradition, principle or deceptive philosophies.

Eternity is timeless, without beginning or ending, Time is marked by night and day, and it is here that I must live in every moment of time, 24 hours each day, 7 days a week just as Paul did, having my Faith strengthened so that I might endure the days, weeks, months and years in which God has assigned to me.

For God alone knows the number of my days, nights and years, and I continually desire to be thankful as well as faithful to following Christ to the very end even as Paul did!
