Why did Christ speak to HIS disciples concerning the foundation upon which someone would build a house?

Being a skilled carpenter from Nazareth, Jesus knew firsthand what happens when workers build incorrectly upon a shallow and unstable foundation.

But what meaning of TRUTH was HE trying to explain to HIS disciples?

I am sure of one thing, Christ asked them why they called HIM Lord, Lord, then went headlong into their duties without Obedience to HIS WORDs!

Although the meaning of a solid foundation versus a shaky one, implies carelessness and possibly ignorance, nonetheless disobedient workers would continue choosing to ignore HIS TRUE principles of Kingdom building!!!

Christ taught HIS disciples much more than just building skills, HE taught them about OBEDIENT workers for God, who WILL follow HIS plans, and the future of HIS Kingdom would withstand every catastrophe for eternity.

Holy Spirit then dwells within those houses, built upon a foundation of TRUTH and Righteousness that will be a testimony to the world, of the Master Builder who taught HIS disciples the Secret of Success!
